Moon Rocks! We made some of our own moon rocks. We made a prediction about what would happen when we added vinegar... They exploded!!!

Pirate Jed's treasure was stolen! We sent him some maps to help him find it! When we returned from assembly he had left us a map and we followed it all the way around school until we found the treasure he had left us!
WOW! We are ready for Year 1 with this writing! We wrote our own newspaper reports about the stolen treasure! The clues told us it was the Giant!!
Jed arrived in Australia today and we found out Ms Cole lived there with her family in 2010 for 10 years! Ms Cole had lots to tell us about what it is like to live in Australia! We looked at lots of different animals and we even made an Australian treat- Fairy Bread! It was delicious!
Pirate Jed arrived in Dubai todaY and we found out that Mrs Hurst-Ford used to live there as a teenager! She told us lots about what life was like there! We tried to build some tall sky scrapers like the ones in Dubai!
We are in Mexico today! We looked at the artist Frida Kahlo and learnt about her life. We then made our own flower crowns just like the ones she wears in her self portraits. We then tried some crisps and dip!
Pirate Jed travelled to Italy today! We loved making pizzas in our pizza oven! We then had a special Italian visitor- Mrs Mattioli! We looked at the map of Italy and then she taught us some Italian words!
Pirate Jed has been on his travels! He sent us an email to tell us his first stop was France! He even sent us some crossiants and a French baguette! We enjoyed a french themed day! We wrote post cards from france, learned numbers and days of the week in French, built the Eiffel Tower and a Disney land rollercoaster outside! In the afternoon we were learning about a French artist- Henri Matisse! We made our own collages in his style. What a lovely day!!
