Thank you.

Mrs Hambling

Should you need any help to support you child with their R.E. tasks please use the 'parent background notes' I have added to this page.  It will give you all the information you need to ensure your child can complete each activity successfully.

We made it to Thursday.  Still feels a little strange talking to you through a computer rather than seeing your smiling faces.  However, seeing your hard work each day cheers me up so much.  I'm so pleased so many of you enjoyed the story.  Keep your eyes peeled for more on the way.

Stay safe and don't forget to cheer at 8pm (if you're not in bed) for our fabulous NHS and key workers

Sorry I missed you all yesterday.  I was in school checking the Boggarts were behaving themselves.  Lucky for us they were and have not messed up the classroom.

I have had some excellent Superhero stories on Purple Mash.  Knowing they are out there saving the world makes me feel safe.  I have also had some brilliant rhythms sent through.  I was having a samba party with my family at one point.  It really made us smile, thank you.

Isla and Annabelle have been doing an excellent job on Mathletics and earned themselves a bronze certificate each.  Who will be next?

Keep up the hard work

Happy Monday everyone.

Hope you had a great weekend.  I can't believe there were snowflakes falling yesterday!!!

Well done Isaac for getting a bronze certificate in Mathletics.  I wonder who will get certificates this week.  Remember today is the deadline for your Superhero stories on Purple Mash.  I am really looking forward to reading your adventures.  Heidi has already sent me a fabulous story.

Keep up the hard work.

Mrs Hambling

Woohoo! We made it to Friday.  Hope you are all ok.

It was pretty moving to hear all my neighbours joining in with the round of appluase for our NHS workers.  Did you join in?

I have already had some great rhythms sent through on Purple Mash.  I am looking forward to hearing what else you compose.

I well done goes to Kate for achieving a bronze certificate on Mathletics.  There is some impressive work going on there.

Keep up the hard work.  I've just added a fantastic story writing project for you to do on Purple Mash.  Let your imaginations run wild.

Day 4 away from school but a day closer to being able to play together again. I keep thinking of you all and what you might be up to to keep yourselves busy.

Well Done to Francesca for achieving a Bronze certificate on Mathletics.  And another well done to Marcie for getting top score on Bubble Blast.

It's great to see you opening your books on Bug Club but please remember to answer the questions.  Look for the little bugs to show you where the questions are.

Stay safe

Hello Year 1,

Great to see some of you have been really busy on Mathletics.  You have won 21 gold bars between you.  A special well done to Jacob who earned a bronze certificate yesterday.  Don't worry any certificates earned will be printed out when we get back into school.

I have added another 2do in Purple Mash- 2 Beat.  It will give you a chnace to compose some fun rhythms and play with the beat.  I cannot wait to see what you come up with.

Stay safe and I'll speak to you tomorrow.

Home Learning

Good Morning Year 1.  Hope you are all keeping safe.  I know it is a strange for you to not be at school but I wanted you to know I am thinking of you.

I am, as promised, keeping an eye on what you are doing online and I am so pleased to see some of you have finished your first book on Bug Club.  Keep up the reading and don't forget the questions that go with each book.

I have set some specific tasks on Purple Mash now. I wonder who will get the highest score on Bubble Bonds?

Don't forget your Home Learning packs.  There are plenty of activities to keep you working as hard as you do everyday in school.
