Pupil Premium

Schools are allocated additional funds known as 'Pupil Premium' to provide additional support or resources for the following categories of children:

  • children in low-income families who were eligible for free school meals now or at any point in the last six years
  • children who are looked after continuously for more than six months
  • adopted children 
  • children with parents in the Armed Forces 

 

At the beginning of each financial year the school writes a Pupil Premium Strategy, detailing the impact of the previous year's funding and setting out how the funds will be allocated  for the year ahead.
