St Oswald's Hospice - Elmer the Elephant
Our Decorate our own Elmer evening!
We have some very artistic pupils at St Oswald's! We thought about the designs we wanted to put on our own elephants. There were some great ideas!
Thursday 27th July 2019 - Elmer's Patchwork Parade and Summer Fun Day!
What a brilliant morning was had by all! We all had great fun taking part in all the activities and also our Sponsored Elmer Patchwork Parade. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and support the children during the parade. Also to the volunteers that gave up their own time to set up and man the stalls.
A magnificant £747.66 was raised.
ELMER'S 30th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
We had a great day helping Elmer celebrate his 30th birthday.
Our whole school was filled with bright and colourful clothing. Lots of activities were happening in classrooms ranging from making Birthday cards to making Birthday hats!
Of course, no party would be complete with cakes! Our cake sale was extremely successful which our School Council set up and then help serve.
We created an enormous 'human 30' in the yard and sang 'Happy Birthday' to the guest of honour 'Oswald' our very own elephant!
