Spring Term 2020

Hi Year 5

I hope you are all safe and well.

I also hope you are all enjoying your home learning packs.  I have also assigned you some work on Mathletics, which I know some of you have already discovered!

Don't forget the work is to last for this week and next week, so remember to spread out what you are doing over the two weeks.

I can't wait to see which creative curriculum projects you have chosen.

Try a little mindfulness each day - perhaps you could teach everyone at home our 'Calm in 20'

Rainbows 1 Rainbows made by the children at school

Hi Year 5

I thought you would like to see our rainbows. Perhaps you could hang your own rainbow in your window.

Calm zone

If you are wanting to find ways to feel calmer then visit this great childline website for exercises,  activities and games:

I hope everyone has had a good weekend.  Here is our growth mindset quote for the week:

'Love challenges,  be intrigued by mistakes, enjoy effort

and keep on learning'

Carol Dweck

Perhaps you could make your own growth mindset tree at home!

Can you remember our trip to Newcastle Castle Year 5?

Have  a  very  happy  Easter  Year 5  and take care everyone!
Well done for all the work done so far!
