STEM WEEK 

Year 2 designed and made 'rollercoasters' during STEM week. The children built their own small-scale model roller coasters using tubes and marbles, and then analyze them using physics principles. The children enjoyed working as a team and discussing their ideas.

Bubble Art 

Year 2 have been using marbling inks to create multi-coloured prints and observing what happens when colours mix on the water’s surface. The children used sticks to mix and swirl the inks before laying a sheet of paper over the top and taking a print of the patterned surface. The children enjoyed making bubble prints by adding coloured powder paint to bubble mixtures and catching the bubbles on a large sheet of paper.
