Y6's home learners have taken full advantage of the snow during our Wednesday Wellbeing afternoon & Gracie made a delicious looking cake!
On Tuesday 9th February, it was Safer Internet Day. The theme this year was ‘Together for a Better Internet’. Y2-6 were lucky enough to take part in a fun quiz, all about staying safe online and what to trust. We then followed this up in classes with a lesson where we explored some of the issues raised in more detail. Home learners could also have a go at the quiz and an e-safety lesson remotely too. This couldn’t have come at a better time as we all seem to be spending so much time on our devices. We learnt lots and had a fun day. Take a look at some of the work that took place both in school and at home.
Y2 have been busy with more DT, Mason has made his own musical instrument!
Looking at Y2's Pudding Lane bread making, it's making me feel very hungry.
This week is Children's Mental Health week and each class is doing something related to the theme this year which is, 'Express Yourself'. Heidi in Year 2 has expressed herself with a thoughtful piece of writing and a beautiful picture of herself.
Look at how amazing these Tudor houses are! Well done to Heidi and Mason, I think that these must have taken you a very long time.
Alfie, Freddie and their dog had a very energetic start to the day today!
Freya and Mila from Year 2 have been very busy creating Tudor houses.
Our first 'Wellbeing Wednesday' activities got sent out today. In Year 6 we made dreamcatchers as we have been doing some writing work based on dreams. Take a look at the dreamcatcher that Gracie made below, I love how colourful her design is.
Emilia from Reception has been very creative with her home learning tasks - look at that art work!
Carys and Seren have been working very hard with their home learning.
In art, Y6 have been studying Kandinsky. This week, for our home learning we used a piece of music to inspire our art. Can you guess which songs inspired Alasia and Jennifer?
Archie and Alba have been working very hard with their home learning. Alba has even been using pasta to help her with her maths work!
