Year 1 are having a fantastic time finding out about all things to do with dinosaurs. Including being 'Dino Dentists' to work out whether they were herbivores or carnivores.
We had a brilliant visit to The Great North Museum where we spent the day being paleontologists. We looked at different types of fossils to work out what they had been. We even held dinosaur poo fossils!!! We spent some time with Dippy the Diplodocus and could not believe how long he was.
After a strange start to our half term (see pictures below), we quickly realised that an an alien had landed in school. We are going to use this as a chance to find out more about space.
We had fun trying to fill our stockings with Numicon. We had three tricky challenges.
